📜 What’s New?
Historically, those unable to queue due to medical issues could use a special access pass. But changes are afoot! Now, only guests with “difficulty standing” due to mobility issues can skip the lines. Meanwhile, those struggling with “crowds” will need to head to guest services for tailored support.

🎫 Why the Shift?
Merlin acknowledges feedback that the existing system wasn’t cutting it for many disabled guests as queue times were up. Plus, there’s been a rise in pass holders with conditions like ADHD, anxiety, and autism.

🛡️ Access Card Update:
The Access Card, used across 3,000+ venues globally, will feature a new system. Those with mobility challenges will still have the ‘bypass’ option, while those with difficulties in crowded spaces will receive individual assistance.

Merlin promises to keep the new system under review and adapt based on feedback. Their commitment? To enhance inclusivity and ensure everyone enjoys their park experience!

🗣️ We Want Your Thoughts:
The ongoing dialogue with guests is crucial, and there’s hope that any snags in the system will be ironed out by March. If successful, this might lead to a wider rollout at other venues.

For all visitors, a Fastrack pass is available for £35 if you prefer skipping the lines altogether. Let us know your thoughts on these changes and how they might impact your visits!
