Plans for a thrilling adventure hub in north Pembrokeshire are making a comeback! 🌿️ Originally given the green light in 2024, this project hit a legal snag when a High Court judge halted the development over concerns about wildlife protection. 🐦 Now, the team behind the project, Adventure Beyond Ltd, is set to resubmit their plans soon.
Located at The Old Bus Depot in Moylegrove, this hub promises to be a hotspot for adventure tourism. But, it has stirred debate. Critics, including the local community council and Wild Justice, worry it could disrupt local wildlife, particularly birds and seals. 🦅 Meanwhile, Jet Moore from Adventure Beyond argues they’ve actively developed wildlife-safe codes of conduct. So, it’s a battle between adventure and conservation!
Back to the drawing board after the High Court’s ruling, which pointed out that important environmental data hadn’t been reviewed before approval. The park authority has now been updated on the judgment and new plans are expected by the end of the year or in early 2026. 🗓️
