🚨 **Parliament Security Strikes Again!** 🚨

On Wednesday, security staff at the Houses of Parliament will stage another 24-hour strike in their fight for better pay and conditions. This comes right on the heels of last week’s action, led by over 300 members of the Public and Commercial Services (PCS) union. 🚫💰

Fran Heathcote, PCS general secretary, praised the collective spirit, noting that MPs joined the picket line in a show of solidarity. 👍 “These MPs witness firsthand the incredible work our members do to keep everyone safe in the national parliament building,” Heathcote remarked.
In addition to the walkout, staff are continuing with an overtime ban and working to rule. They’re committed to this strong stand until their demands are met, underlining just how vital their role is to the everyday workings of the UK’s democracy. 🏛️✊
