A dangerous and manipulative sex offender, Adam Davies, has been slapped with a 30-year extended sentence after being found guilty of horrific child sex offences. The judge at Swansea Crown Court didn’t hold back, labelling Davies as a significant threat to children. The appalling crimes, involving two young girls and a young boy, came to light when one brave victim spoke up, leading to more victims being identified.
Davies, 36, of Swansea, denied all allegations but was convicted on multiple charges, involving rape, sexual assault, and possession of indecent images of children. Despite having no prior convictions, the verdict paints a chilling picture of a paedophile who posed a real danger to young lives.
The emotional impact on his victims was highlighted in powerful court statements, with Judge Catherine Richards recognising him as a “manipulative and determined” offender. Despite Davies’ attempts to deny his actions, the survivors are being supported and praised for their courage in coming forward.
Davies received a 26-year prison term, with four additional years on licence, and is subject to an indefinite sexual harm prevention order. He must serve at least two-thirds of his sentence before he can appeal for release, with the Parole Board making the final call on his potential freedom. He’ll also remain a registered sex offender for life.
