Hey everyone, just wanted to update you on the lovely Jessie J! Our favourite pop star, born Jessica Cornish, recently opened up about her ongoing health journey. Jessie, who’s 37, bravely underwent a mastectomy in June after being diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer.
Jessie shared with her fans that while her surgery was successful (no spread detected!), she’s faced a few bumps in the road, including a recent hospital visit for a lung infection. She took to Instagram to share her experience, revealing it’s all about adjusting to a slower pace now. For someone as lively as her – an “ADHD Aries, fire-breathing dragon t-rex” – this has been quite a change!
As she navigates through recovery, Jessie confided about experiencing hair loss and the challenge of finding balance. Despite all this, she’s not stopping! Exciting news: Jessie has a new song on the way. It’s been tough to promote due to her recovery, but she just can’t keep it stored in her phone any longer!
Reflecting on life, Jessie says her perspective has shifted dramatically. She realised the importance of slowing down and appreciates the support from her inner circle. This devoted mum welcomed her son, Sky, in 2023, and is now focused on family, health, and, of course, her fans.
Many of us know Jessie’s music magic from hits like “Domino,” “Price Tag,” and “Bang Bang.” Did you know she has three UK number ones and bagged four MOBO awards back in 2011? A true star!
