❄️ Snow Day Alert! ❄️

If you’re waking up to a winter wonderland in Wales, you’re not alone! A thick blanket of snow has led to school closures across the region today. With a yellow weather warning in effect for snow and ice, safety comes first. 🌨️

Pembrokeshire County Council has made the call to keep 31 schools closed in the area. So, if you’re in Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, or Swansea, keep an ear out and an eye on the skies! The Met Office forecasts those chilly wintry showers pushing south, bringing more snow, especially to higher grounds above 200m. 🌬️

Expect snow accumulations of 2-5 cm and possibly up to 10 cm in isolated spots. For those in affected areas, it’s time to grab a hot cup of cocoa and enjoy the snow day from the warmth of your home. ☕️
Here’s a quick look at some schools taking a snow break:
– Cilgerran Church in Wales VC School
– Haverfordwest High VC School
– Henry Tudor School
– Narberth Community Primary School
– And many more!
A list you didn’t want the kids to read, but here we are! Have fun, stay warm, and build those snowmen! 🥶⛄️
Remember, safety first, so take care if you do need to travel. For now, let’s enjoy the snow and make the most of this unexpected break!
