🚨 Football Drama at Wrexham! 🚨

Paul Mullin, a fan favourite and star striker known for propelling Wrexham to back-to-back promotions, might be saying farewell to the club. Mullin, who joined Wigan on loan over the summer, is uncertain about his future at Wrexham despite his love for the club and its fans.

The prolific goal-scorer, who bagged 110 goals over his four-season stint at Wrexham, has been a key figure both on and off the pitch. He even made a charming cameo in the last year’s Deadpool & Wolverine film, a testament to his popularity. However, after a fall from grace, Mullin found himself out of favour and on loan.
In a candid chat, Mullin said, “I loved my time at Wrexham, but it might not be over. That’s not up to me. I just want to enjoy playing football.” Having netted four goals for Wigan this term, he’s proving his prowess on the pitch. Still contracted to Wrexham until 2027, his next steps remain a mystery.
Meanwhile, Wrexham, now competing in the Championship, have had a challenging start. Positioned 18th, after a narrow loss to Stoke, the pressure is on to climb the table. Mullin, keeping tabs on his old team’s progress, is optimistic: “The Championship is tough, but despite early struggles, I’m sure they’ll continue to improve.”
Wrexham is gearing up for their next match against Oxford United at home, where fans are eagerly anticipating their first home win of the season.
