A visitor from London found himself marooned on a rock after the fast-rising tide caught him by surprise at Gower’s beautiful Three Cliffs Bay. Local walkers spotted the man’s precarious situation and called for help, bringing the heroic RNLI crew into action! 🚤

At around 12:30 pm on a choppy Tuesday, the Horton and Port Eynon lifeboat team bravely battled easterly winds to rescue the stranded visitor, safely bringing him back to shore. It was a challenging mission, but the RNLI was well-prepared! 🌊

Lawrie Grove, Lifeboat Operations Manager, had a valuable piece of advice for all coastal adventurers: always check the tide times and never attempt to swim back if stranded. It’s vital to have a way to communicate and call 999 to reach the Coastguard in emergencies. 📞
