A holistic healer from Wales has detailed a harrowing journey she claims took her to the realms of Hell and Heaven, following a serious road accident. Yoga Premananda, aged 51, describes an out-of-body experience in which she said she was confronted by sights, sounds, and sensations that have altered her entire approach to life.

Recounting the events leading up to her ordeal, Yoga shared that the incident occurred after she had planned to go out with friends, only to later decide to embark on the trip alone. Alone on a quiet road, she recalls being overwhelmed by a sense of euphoria, losing focus, and suddenly experiencing a crushing sense of dread. In a matter of moments, her vehicle veered off the road, and her life took an extraordinary turn.

Premananda describes the moments after the crash as initially surreal; she found herself in what she termed a “cold, dark chamber” before being plunged into what she called the “terrifying pit of Hell.” The scene, as she tells it, was dominated by shadowy figures, while a thick, smoky odour permeated the air. The walls were paradoxical—simultaneously hot and cold, dry and wet—and there were tormented voices calling out for help.

The profound imagery did not end there. According to Yoga, the space seemed endless, and a spinning pyre of flames was central to the landscape, with souls clinging to it and pleading for rescue. She notes that the entities in this realm appeared perplexed by her presence, further intensifying her sense of displacement and uncertainty.

Amidst the chaos, she claims she suddenly encountered Archangel Raphael—a well-known spiritual figure associated with healing in multiple faiths. In a scene out of a supernatural tale, the archangel appeared, donned in dark attire, complete with sunglasses and a hat, and posed a challenge to Premananda. Within an instant, she explains, she found herself whisked away to a calmer environment, which she calls the “waiting room for Heaven.”

Once in this tranquil space, Yoga says she felt an inexplicable sense of comfort and familiarity, likening it to a return home. She described a bright tunnel brimming with movement, as souls travelled to and fro. Premananda observed that, unlike herself, the other souls manifested as orbs of light rather than in a physical form.

The archangel, she continues, assumed a bureaucratic role, sitting behind a desk, meticulously reviewing and stamping documents believed to represent the information of each soul. Yoga says no words were exchanged, but communication seemed to happen through other, unspoken means. At this stage, she realised that she was not supposed to continue further into the tunnel, as she retained her earthly body while the others did not.

As her turn came, Archangel Raphael apparently was given divine authorisation to send her back to the world of the living. Suddenly, she found herself restored within her body, her car inexplicably back on the road without a single scratch. The experience left her disorientated but filled with a renewed sense of purpose.

Reflecting on her miraculous return, Yoga turned around and drove home, feeling as if a higher power had intervened in her fate. The weeks that followed, however, proved difficult, with episodes of breathlessness, anxiety, and a lingering sense of existing between two realms. Despite medical advice recommending anti-anxiety medication, she maintains that a wise inner voice encouraged her to seek alternative healing instead.

Since the incident, Premananda has dedicated her life to helping others through holistic and spiritual healing, achieving qualifications in detoxification and cleansing. She attests to being substance-free and focused on her own well-being, while striving to support those who have undergone similar near-death experiences.

Yoga says her journey profoundly altered her understanding of reality, inspiring her to practise compassion and reevaluate the nature of life and existence. “Hell taught me much about compassion,” she shares, “and showed that what we experience here on Earth is not the ultimate reality.” She hopes her story will encourage others to look beyond the surface and reconnect with their true selves.
