Tragedy at Seaford station as a 16-year-old boy is fatally stabbed, leaving the community in shock. On Wednesday evening, British Transport Police were called to the scene around 5pm where they found the teenager with a severe injury. Despite the efforts of paramedics, he sadly passed away at the station. The victim’s next of kin have been informed of this devastating news.


In a significant development, another 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody. Detective Chief Inspector Paul Stanley described the event as “shocking” and stressed the importance of the ongoing investigation. “The station will remain closed as we continue our enquiries,” he stated. He also urged anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to come forward, emphasising that even the smallest detail could be crucial.
