Among the extraordinary achievements, 32.8% of students secured top A*-A grades, leaving the national average of 29.5% trailing behind. A whopping 81.8% achieved a C or higher, marking a proud day for students and teachers alike across the city.

Big shoutout to Carl Offia from Bishop Vaughan High, who scored an A* and two As and is off to Cardiff University to study medicine. 🩺 He’s always been passionate about helping others and now gets to pursue it as a career. 🎓

Nia Bibi, also from Bishop Vaughan, is heading to Bath University for pharmacy studies with her trio of As, while Joel George Destin celebrates his three A*s in maths, further maths, and physics, preparing for a master’s in mechanical engineering at Bristol University. 🚀

It’s not just the individual stars – Gower College Swansea shines with a perfect 100% pass rate across 1,250 A-level entries. An impressive 12% hit the A* mark, 34% got A*-A, and 85% achieved A*-C grades. They’re also smashing it in vocational courses with a 98% pass rate. 📈

Swansea Council’s Cabinet Member for Education and Learning, Robert Smith, couldn’t be prouder, congratulating students, teachers, and families for their hard work and dedication. These results are a testament to the excellence of our local schools and the bright futures ahead for our young people.
