**Shocking Incident at Milford Haven Comprehensive**

An unsettling incident has unfolded at Milford Haven Comprehensive School. Reports have emerged of a teacher being assaulted by a pupil wielding a weapon. This alarming event has led to the temporary closure of the school on Friday, 6th February.

The incident occurred at the end of the school day, prompting immediate police response and the school going into lockdown. Dyfed Powys Police have confirmed that a 15-year-old student has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The injured teacher was taken to hospital, thankfully with non-stab injuries, and is receiving medical treatment.

Parents voiced their panic as the school swiftly enacted their lockdown procedure. Many students were either inside or just outside the premises when the lockdown began. While all pupils are reported safe, after-school activities were cancelled as police secured the area.
The local education authority announced the school’s closure for the day following the incident, supporting the community during this troubling time. School governor Alan Dennison stated that the incident proved the effectiveness of the school’s lockdown policy.
First Minister Eluned Morgan and MP Henry Tufnell have expressed their deep concern for the teacher and the entire community. Meanwhile, the teaching union Nasuwt highlighted the worrying trend of rising violence in schools and reinforced that such behaviour is absolutely unacceptable.
