Fast forward a year, and after a challenging hospital stay that included intensive care and open-heart surgery, Sam is back doing what he loves: playing basketball! He returned to the court for Caernarfon U18s and Cheshire Phoenix U18s with newfound confidence and gratitude for life.
This life-changing experience gave Sam a mission: to spread awareness about the crucial skills of CPR and defibrillation. He’s now supporting an amazing initiative by British Heart Foundation Cymru, aimed at providing free digital CPR training to schools across Wales.
