🌟✨ Strictly Come Dancing’s First Exit of 2025! ✨🌟
It’s only the beginning of the 2025 series, and the sparkle has already dimmed for Thomas Skinner and his dance partner Amy Dowden as they’re the first pair to be voted off. Despite giving it their best shot, they were unable to beat out rugby star Chris Robshaw and his partner Nadiya Bychkova in the tense dance-off.
The judges, including Shirley Ballas and Craig Revel Horwood, were unanimous in their decision to save Chris and Nadiya after their impressive Viennese Waltz. Even though Thomas and Amy didn’t make it far, they definitely made an impact. Thomas, known for his stint on The Apprentice, admitted he’s never danced before but loved every moment, saying: “I’ve had fun! Thank you, Amy – you’re a different class.”
Amy had nothing but praise for Thomas, sharing that they’ve become great friends: “He is a sweetheart, and we’ve laughed so much.” She reflected on the journey, emphasising that sometimes happiness and health are more important than a glitterball trophy. Plus, Amy mentioned how Thomas helped her regain confidence, making the experience worthwhile despite the early exit.
Their departure doesn’t come without a bit of drama. Thomas had a bumpy start to the season, making headlines for walking out of media interviews and reportedly having some past personal controversies. However, he took rehearsals seriously and even shed a stone during the intensive training sessions!
