🚨 Shocking Accident on the M20 🚨
Tragedy struck near Wrotham when a tractor dramatically plunged from a bridge onto the M20 motorway after a crash. The driver suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to King’s College Hospital in London, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
The incident occurred around 11.15 am on Monday when the tractor detached from its trailer and landed on the central reservation between junctions two and three. Emergency services, including Kent Police, Kent Fire and Rescue Service, and South East Coast Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene to manage the situation and ensure public safety.
Due to the accident and resulting fuel spillage, the M20 and A227 are closed, causing major traffic disruptions. Authorities are advising motorists to seek alternative routes and expect delays as road repairs and resurfacing are underway.
