Tragic End to a Dream Holiday: A Heartbreaking Story
A family getaway meant to celebrate a milestone birthday turned into a nightmare after Leslie Green, 70, lost his life due to severe food poisoning contracted at a luxury Canary Island resort. Leslie, along with his wife Julie, had travelled to the Occidental Jandia Playa in Fuerteventura to mark his special day. Heartbreakingly, his wife Julie also suffered from a severe bout of food poisoning on her 60th birthday during the same holiday but later recovered.
