Tragic news from Llandudno as a man loses his life in a car crash. 🚗💔 The incident happened on Wednesday, 13th August, on Maesdu Road, as a vehicle collided with a bus stop. It appears the accident was caused by a “suspected medical episode” affecting the driver.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, closing off the road to handle the situation. Responders included officers from North Wales Police, the Welsh Ambulance Service, North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, and even the air ambulance. Despite their swift actions, the male driver sadly passed away on the scene.
A spokesman for North Wales Police shared, “Shortly before 5.30pm, we were alerted to a single-vehicle collision on Maesdu Road. It was reported that a car had gone into a bus stop.” The response teams worked tirelessly, with the air ambulance from Caernarfon and Welshpool arriving promptly but concluding their efforts by 7pm.
