Tragic Loss of a Young Soul 💔
We’re deeply saddened to share the news of George Joseph Powell, a 21-year-old from Welshpool, who lost his life in a heartbreaking motorcycle accident. On December 15, 2024, George was riding his Yamaha on the A490 when he lost control on a bend near Ceunant Bridge. Despite the efforts of emergency services, George was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to severe chest injuries.😔
Remembered by his family as “gentle and kind-hearted,” George was a beloved son, brother, and grandson. Known for his love of animals and infectious positivity, he leaves a void that will be impossible to fill. His family describes him as someone whose sweet and caring nature touched everyone he knew and say he was “the best parts of all of us.”
