🚨 Tragic Incident on A465 Heads of the Valleys Road 🚨
Last night saw another heartbreaking accident on the busy A465, with yet another horse fatally hit by a car near Brynmawr. Around 10pm, Gwent Police responded to the collision, which resulted in the driver being taken to hospital, and tragically, the horse died at the scene. 😢
This is the third horse-related accident on this stretch in recent weeks, with two horses having already lost their lives earlier this month. What’s going on with our roads?
Adding to the tension, fire crews are battling a massive grass fire that’s been blazing for the past three weeks, engulfing over 70 hectares near the same stretch of road. 🌿🔥
The A465 was temporarily closed between Ebbw Vale and Brynmawr but reopened in the early hours. Let’s be careful and extra vigilant on the roads, folks. 🛣️
