🌳 Tragedy Strikes: Man Killed by Falling Tree Branch in Blackpool Park 🌪️
In a heartbreaking incident, a man in his 40s lost his life early this morning after being struck by a falling tree branch in Revoe Park, Blackpool. The tragic accident occurred around 5am as fierce winds swept across the UK, prompting a yellow weather warning in many areas.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Central Drive, where the branch had fallen on a tent, tragically hitting the man sheltering inside. Despite the best efforts of medics, he was sadly pronounced dead on the spot.
Police have cordoned off part of the park and are working to contact the man’s family. His death, while terribly sad, is not being treated as suspicious. Our thoughts are with his loved ones during this difficult time.
