đź’” Remembering Andre Yarham: Diagnosed with dementia just before turning 23, Andre tragically passed away at only 24, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Initially misdiagnosed with autism, his condition quickly worsened, leading to a heart-breaking diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia. His brain, aged like that of a 70-year-old, silenced his voice and stole his vibrant energy.
🧠Even after his passing, Andre continues to make a difference. His brain has been donated to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for research, hoping to bring clarity and hope to other families facing similar struggles. His mum, Sam, expressed her wish that his contribution helps at least one family in the future.
👏 Andre’s spirit shone brightly at The Maltings care home in Norfolk, where he was cherished for his warmth, wit, and humour. Staff fondly remember him as a joyful presence, even as his health deteriorated. He was also a part of FitzRoy’s 2024 Christmas campaign, showcasing his vivacious character to all.

🚗🏍 On January 27, Andre will be honoured with a special send-off at Breckland Crematorium. More than 100 cars and motorbikes are expected to join in, celebrating the life of a young man who touched so many hearts.
