Tragedy struck on Monday in Swansea as a 76-year-old man sadly passed away after collapsing near a local school. An air ambulance and multiple emergency vehicles rushed to the scene at Pentre Mawr Road, Hafod, around lunchtime. Despite the swift response and medical attention from the Welsh Ambulance Service, he couldn’t be saved and died at the scene.

The air ambulance made a dramatic landing at Pentrehafod School, marking it as a key rendezvous point for emergency responders. South Wales Police confirmed the man’s passing and remained at the scene to handle the situation. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
