Yusuf’s uncle, Zaheer Ahmed, expressed gratitude for the inquest, stating, “It’s been a tough fight to get here, but we’re closer to the truth about how Yusuf died.” The family stresses the importance of a thorough investigation, not wanting any stone left unturned.

Yusuf’s health rapidly declined after being seen for severe tonsillitis. As his condition worsened, his parents defiantly took him to Sheffield Children’s Hospital, yet it was too late. Yusuf succumbed to multi-organ failure just days before his eighth birthday.
