Heads up, Cardiff commuters! An early morning incident involving trespassers on the railway has thrown a spanner in the works for all trains passing through Cardiff Central. As a result, expect some delays and cancellations until 10am today.
Transport for Wales has confirmed a total of three cancellations and 18 delays so far. But don’t fret, help is at hand! You can use Cardiff bus services in the Coryton to Cardiff area at no extra cost.
Cancelled services include:
– Merthyr Tydfil to Aberdare at 07:39
– Penarth to Coryton at 08:35
– Treherbert to Cardiff Central at 08:10
And that’s not all. Delays are also affecting several other key routes, including:
– Birmingham New Street to Aberystwyth
– Rhymney to Barry Island
– Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth
