Exciting changes are underway in Swansea! π A tired-looking plot of land in Llansamlet is about to get a vibrant makeover as part of the city council’s Β£8 million initiative to revamp local playgrounds. With over 60 play areas already transformed, this project is making a real impact across the community.

Residents can look forward to a new and improved Tal y Copa play area, featuring the latest in inclusive and modern playground design. The fresh setup will include a Treetops Towers Baso unit, sensory den, trampoline, swing set, and an embankment slide. Best of all, these upgrades focus on accessibility, ensuring children of all ages and abilities can join the fun! π
Cabinet Member Robert Francis-Davies noted the significance of this initiative, stating itβs one of the most substantial investments in children’s outdoor play in the UK. Not only does this uplift community spirits, but it also supports families during challenging times. ποΈ
