Hey Swansea folks! Remember the iconic nightclub spot on Northampton Lane? It could soon be transformed into something entirely new! Known back in the day as Plan B, Club Oxygen, and Crobar, this place was once the heart of dance music in Swansea. Now, there’s a plan in the works to give it a fresh start as a mixed-use space with commercial ground floor units and 14 modern apartments.

Funkypump Fitness Ltd has submitted a proposal to the council, which includes revamping a currently unused gym in the building. Fancy a sneak peek? Artists have already shared some eye-catching designs showcasing a new look for the building if the plans get the green light. One of the highlights is an environmentally friendly green roof and a stylish new façade.
Swansea city planners will consider the transformation soon, and if approved, this site will join a growing list of old nightclubs in the area finding new life.

Interestingly, just nearby, other nightlife memories like Jumpin’ Jaks and Oceana have also been replaced by a shiny new £49 million office development. It seems like this part of Swansea is really on the move!
