**Shocking Aftermath at Wharley Point Car Park! 🤯**

You won’t believe what volunteers discovered at Wharley Point Car Park in Carmarthenshire. This lovely National Trust spot, cherished for its stunning views and peaceful walks, was left covered in rubbish after the festive season. 🎄
Volunteers from Glasbren CIC were left in shock as they collected TEN bags full of litter, including beer cans, glass bottles, vapes, and used wet wipes—all tossed into hedges and underbrush. Even more disturbing were cans filled with urine scattered around. 😡

Abel Pearson from the group shared the frustration: “This is absolutely outrageous. We are sickened by the contempt shown for this beautiful area, where people come to enjoy nature’s splendour. We strongly believe in providing access to land and nature, but what we witnessed here is truly unacceptable.”

But there’s a silver lining! Abel and his team are teaming up with local authorities, including the National Trust and Dyfed-Powys Police, to ensure this never happens again. 🙌
Access to these lovely places is a privilege, not a right. Huge applause for the volunteers who spent hours cleaning up someone else’s mess. Let’s all show more respect for our stunning Welsh landscapes and keep them beautiful for everyone to enjoy. 🌿
