🚆 All Aboard for Cornwall! 🚆

Ever dreamed of waking up in beautiful Cornwall after an overnight train journey? That’s exactly what UK travel and food content creator George Kimm did, and while the experience was unforgettable, the price tag left some jaws dropping.

George hopped on the Great Western Railway (GWR) Night Riviera from London Paddington to Penzance, sharing his adventure with his Instagram followers. The journey stretched for over eight hours, and George travelled in style, booking a cosy solo cabin complete with a comfy single bed, under-bed storage, and a handy table that doubles as a sink.
It’s not all about the luxury, though. George pointed out that while toilets are outside the cabins, GWR offers free tea, coffee, and even biscuits to passengers. Plus, the onboard bar is a chill spot to relax before drifting off to the soothing sounds of the train.
Breakfast was a treat too! Waking up to views of the countryside whizzing by, George enjoyed a delicious sausage bap and a warm cup of tea.
Now, here’s where things get interesting. George’s Instagram reveal of the cost had people talking: £119 for the train ticket plus £149 for the cabin. While the total left some gasping, George insisted the experience was “so worth it,” and he’d definitely do it again.
The reactions online? Well, they’re priceless. While some called the cost “insane” and even “criminal,” others saw it as a special part of a holiday experience. One commenter nailed it by saying, “You aren’t losing out on any holiday time since it’s all overnight!”
