Ryanair plans to save around 300 tonnes of paper each year with this switch, but they’ve got you covered if tech glitches happen. Lose your phone or the battery dies? Don’t stress! As long as you’ve checked in online before arriving at the airport, Ryanair will issue you a paper pass for free. Just don’t forget to check in online!
Keep in mind, if you’re flying from Morocco or heading from Tirana to the UK, you’ll still need a paper copy of your boarding pass. Digital won’t cut it there! Also, heads up on fees – checking in at the airport could set you back £55, or £30 in Spain. Plus, a £20 charge applies for a replacement boarding pass if you forget yours.
Navigate this change smoothly by retrieving your boarding pass through ‘My Bookings’ on the Ryanair website or app. It’s a straightforward process—log in, select check-in, and enter your details.
