A juror has denied failing to disclose a personal connection in a shocking school stabbing trial. Christopher Elias, 45, is at the centre of controversy after allegedly not revealing ties to Ysgol Dyffryn Aman, where a horrific incident occurred. In April last year, a 13-year-old attacked teachers Fiona Elias and Liz Hopkin and another pupil, sparking intense courtroom drama. Although the trial originally stumbled due to jury irregularities, the young attacker has since been sentenced to 15 years, while Elias is now defending himself against charges of prohibited juror conduct. He pled not guilty at Cardiff Crown Court and will return on September 26. The shocking attack saw the girl wielding a multi-tool knife, injuring Mrs Elias and Mrs Hopkin, as well as another pupil, before being subdued. The case stunned the community, with Judge Paul Thomas KC remarking that the attacks seemed driven for attention. Stay tuned for more updates on this unfolding legal drama!
