The ladies of Wrexham AFC Women’s team will soon return to their newly acquired home, The Rock stadium in Rhosymedre! 🏟️ But first, there have been some unexpected challenges…
After snapping up The Rock in August, the team discovered some major issues needing attention. From the power supply and pitch to floodlights and fencing – it’s been a busy few months! Thanks to the hard work of the club’s owners, Hollywood stars Rob Mac and Ryan Reynolds, significant progress has been made! 💪✨
The improvements include reinstalling electrical power, upgrading floodlights, renovating high-impact areas on the pitch, and even setting up new wi-fi and telephone lines. The stadium is all set to meet the Football Association of Wales standards. 👍
Initially, the team couldn’t train or play at its new home, but with everything coming together, they’re gearing up for a grand return for their next match against Swansea. 🎉⚽
