🌬️ Brace yourselves, UK! Just when we thought summer had given up, Storm Dexter has something else in store for us! 🌞 This tropical storm is sweeping in from across the Atlantic, bringing with it the prospect of a sizzling heatwave.
👉 While Scotland might see wind and rain, much of England and Wales could bask in glorious sunshine and soaring temperatures. The Met Office predicts temps soaring above 30°C in central and southern England from Monday, with Wales not far behind at a toasty 27°C.
⚠️ A yellow heat health alert has already been issued for vast areas starting Monday, so make sure you’re ready to enjoy the sun responsibly.
Expect the hottest days to kick off the week, but the warm spell might stick around longer in the south. Even as it cools slightly later on, the warm and humid weather could dominate for much of the month, keeping temperatures above average.
