What does a Yellow Alert mean? 🤔
Vulnerable groups like the elderly or those with heart and lung conditions may find it tougher to cope with the cold. This alert is here to ensure they’re not left out in the cold – literally!

Here’s the latest from the Met Office: Expect a countrywide split in weather. The west may experience rain and milder conditions while the northeast could be swamped with wintry showers, and yes, snow might even touch down in some areas! 🌧️🌨️

**So, What Should You Do?**
– **Check on those around you**: Pop in on elderly neighbours or family.
– **Keep it cosy**: If you can, make sure the rooms you use most are heated to at least 18°C.
– **Stay updated**: Keep an eye on the Met Office for any snow and ice warnings.

Winter can be tough, but by looking out for each other and staying informed, we can all stay safe and warm! 🏡💙

Keep this in your diary: The cold-weather alerting season runs from November 1 to March 31, so we’ll be in touch with more updates as needed. Stay toasty and take care! 🌬️
