During a recent visit to RAF Benson, William chatted with his old RAF pals and the Crown Prince of Jordan, confessing that flying is where he finds true happiness and escape. β€œI love flying,” he said, β€œit’s my happy place.”

Having served a heroic three-year stint at RAF Valley, William prided himself on over 150 rescue operations! Though he left the military in 2013 and later flew missions with the East Anglian Air Ambulance until 2017, his passion for flying remains as strong as ever.

While assisting on some maintenance work with the squad’s technicians, the Prince joked about his mechanical skills, displaying not only his love for aviation but also his charming sense of humour.
