Cardiff City’s youth academy is buzzing with talent like never before! The Bluebirds’ knack for nurturing young stars is lighting up both club and international scenes. Just ask Dylan Lawlor, who debuted for Wales’ senior team at 19 after setting the pitch on fire. He’s not alone; rising stars Ronan Kpakio and Joel Colwill join him in Craig Bellamy’s elite squad.

Meanwhile, academy grads like Rubin Colwill and Cian Ashford are already making their mark with the first team. Cardiff is fast becoming a talent factory with young players eager to break through.

Kudos to Vincent Tan and the club’s leadership for backing the youth with state-of-the-art facilities and investment. And let’s not forget the dedicated academy staff whose hard work is now paying off. They say there’s more gold in the mine, with youngsters like Robert Tankiewicz and Mannie Barton knocking on the first team’s door.
Tankiewicz, just 16, is already on Premier League radars after impressing with City’s U21s. Barton, having just turned 18, continues to shine across the Cardiff forward line, drawing attention from top clubs.
And there’s more! Jack Sykes, at 16, is stacking up goals and gaining attention, while Jac Thomas impresses as a versatile left-back. Alyas Debono, a towering centre-back, is another one to watch.
With the Vertu Trophy on the cards, perhaps we’ll see some of these talents make the leap sooner rather than later!
Stay tuned for more on these bright young Bluebirds! 💙⚽️
