Get ready for later Friday night trains leaving Cardiff after midnight to the Valleys. Here’s your late-night schedule:
– 12.03am from Cardiff Central to Merthyr Tydfil
– 12.13am to Aberdare
– 12.30am to Treherbert
Plus, catch the new 5.37am train from Bridgend to Cardiff Monday through Saturday, perfect for those early commuters.
Sunday travellers will be thrilled with a new hourly service between Coryton and Penarth. And if you’re in Ynyswen, welcome back to rail life with the reopening of your station, complete with a second platform and footbridge!
In North Wales, there’s also a new hourly service between Chester and Wrexham, doubling the frequency. Spend your Saturdays with more freedom as new evening trains will run from Cardiff to Hereford and Shrewsbury.
