🚨 Shocking Theft at Cardiff Storage Facility! 🚨
Imagine thinking your belongings are safe in storage, only to have them vanish overnight! That’s exactly what happened to Cardiff’s Harry Tobin. He stored his two high-value off-road bikes worth £18,000 at Pink Storage, Sloper Road, and less than 24 hours later, they disappeared into thin air!
CCTV footage revealed the thieves casually taking off on the bikes at 3am, even though the storage unit is supposed to have 24/7 security. To top it off, Harry discovered the theft himself and had to inform Pink Storage about the missing bikes. He described his experience as “bang out of order.”
Pink Storage has claimed they invest heavily in anti-theft measures. However, Harry and others are questioning the effectiveness of these so-called security features. Gates automatically opening for the thieves with no alarm raised? Suspicious, right?
What adds fuel to the fire is Harry’s discovery that storing motorbikes was against Pink Storage’s policies, making him ineligible for a compensation claim. This was despite storing the bikes based on word of mouth and overlooking the site’s signs prohibiting motorbikes.
Fast forward six months, and while Harry managed to recover one damaged bike thanks to an online post, the other remains missing. Suspects have been arrested, but the incident has left many questioning the security of “secure” storage facilities.
