Gutted about Sunday’s match against Argentina where Wales fell 52-28. We expected a nail-biter, but instead, there were quite a few hiccups that made it harder than it should’ve been.

Gwen Price, the Wales rugby stalwart, didn’t hold back with his analysis. The basics went awry, and some poor performances might see a shake-up in the lineup. Ben Thomas, for example, had a bit of a mare, getting a yellow card and giving away an interception that led to an Argentina try. Yikes!
While scoring 28 points, you’d think we’d done well, but sadly, our defence was all over the place with missed tackles galore. Argentina capitalised with ease, bagging seven tries. It wasn’t all bad though – huge kudos to Jac Morgan, who shone and led by example, even if he did try to carry the team alone!

Dafydd Jenkins and Adam Beard put in solid efforts defensively, while Keiron Assiratti proved his worth beyond scrums. However, Tom Rogers had a tough time, so expect some changes there too.

Substitutions came quicker than the usual 50-55 minute mark, possibly to inject some much-needed energy. Meanwhile, Blair Murray struggled under Argentina’s astute aerial attack, so eyes are on future matchups to see how we address this vulnerability.
With Japan on the horizon, there’s definite pressure to bounce back. The next match is crucial, not just for morale but for world rankings. A loss could leave us facing a real “group of death” in the Rugby World Cup draw.
Watch out for potential lineup changes as we aim to impress in the upcoming games. Let’s rally behind our team and keep up the support! 🏉🏆
