π΄ββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ Meet the Welsh Ironman who’s breaking records and redefining resilience! π

Finn Arentz from Tenby has just shattered his own Welsh national Ironman record by a staggering 20 minutes at Ironman Copenhagen! From battling five chest infections within six months to smashing through the finish line with an epic time, Finn is proof that determination knows no bounds.

π¨βπ¦ This achievement was sweetened by the fact that he trained and cheered on his younger brother Frank, who completed his first Ironman at the same event. For Finn, watching his brother finish was the real triumph of the day!

Hereβs how Finn did it:
πββοΈ 2.4-mile swim: 50 minutes
π΄ββοΈ 112-mile bike ride: 4 hours 16 minutes
πββοΈ Full marathon (26.2 miles): 2 hours 40 minutes
Despite the pain and countless setbacks, including an injury and missed races, Finnβs grit and perseverance paid off spectacularly. The mental game is as tough as the physical in an Ironman, but Finn kept pushing forward, showing us all what it means to never give up.
As for post-race celebrations? π Feast time! Finn and Frank indulged in a massive takeaway, refueling with over 15,000 calories between them!
Looking ahead, Finn has his sights on Ironman Arizona, but his heart is set on returning to Tenby. He dreams of competing again in his hometown, where the journey began, hoping to cross the finish line with family and friends cheering him on. π ποΈ
