Council leader Dimitri Batrouni expressed his enthusiasm, seeing this as a golden ticket for Newport to learn, grow, and possibly tackle big challenges like wealth inequality and economic growth. Newport will gain insights from other top cities and share what makes our city unique and vibrant.
The programme promises intense training, offering pioneering expertise to modernise services, strengthen operations, and improve people’s lives. It’s nine months of transformational learning with all expenses covered, focusing on everything from housing and transport to youth outcomes. 📚✈️
