Exciting News for Swansea! 🎉

Swansea has just welcomed its newest architectural marvel, 71/72 Kingsway, an ‘exceptional’ office block designed to attract high-tech companies. This £49m project aims to transform Swansea into a thriving tech hub, providing much-needed premium office space.

Despite facing some setbacks, including a few hiccups during the pandemic and contractor issues, the building has emerged as a stunning success. Already home to over 366 employees, it promises to create space for 600+ jobs in the next year and a half. 🚀

One notable tenant is Veeqo, an e-commerce business acquired by Amazon, highlighting the city’s potential as a tech powerhouse. While the building is 80% occupied, there’s still room for more innovative companies ready to make their mark.
Swansea Council’s leader, Rob Stewart, expressed his excitement: “Veeqo’s growth is a testament to what Swansea has to offer. We’re confident more companies will see the value in what we’ve built here.”
The project is a testament to Swansea’s ambition and vision, with contributions from the UK Government, the council, and private sectors. It’s not just a building; it’s a promise of a brighter economic future for Swansea.
Here’s to a future filled with innovation and growth in our city! 🙌✨
