🌟 Pub Closed to Keep Pests Away! 🌟

The Royal Oak pub and hotel in Lampeter has temporarily shut its doors due to a cockroach infestation. The closure came after Ceredigion County Council placed a notice in the window, highlighting a “well-established cockroach issue” in the bar and cellar. But fear not, this is only a temporary setback!

Owner Colin Rose wants everyone to know that they voluntarily closed to tackle the issue and ensure everything’s spick and span before reopening. “We’ve taken steps to handle this and have brought in experts to sort it out,” said Colin. “Our priority is the health and safety of our customers and staff.”
While the creepy crawlies were found in the bar area, there’s no sign of them in the kitchen or hotel sections, so you can rest assured, your meals and stays are safe! The pub will open its doors again as soon as possible.
In the meantime, locals are rallying around the much-loved establishment, flooding social media with support and promises to return once the coast is clear. Here’s to a quick and thorough clean-up, and we’ll see you soon for some pints at the Royal Oak! 🍻✨
