A true trailblazer, Rene met her future husband, Neil MacLean, during her service. Their love story saw them wed in 1948 and settle in Glasgow, where they raised three children who all followed in her RAF footsteps. 👨👧👦 Together, they boast nearly a century of military service! 🎖️
Beyond her RAF days, Rene’s entrepreneurial spirit flourished in Cardigan, where she opened her salon and helped establish a local RAFA branch.
