🌧️🌊 Wales on High Alert: Be Prepared for Flooding! 🌊🌧️

Brace yourselves, folks! Wales is facing severe weather conditions as Storm Bram makes its presence felt across the nation. Natural Resources Wales (NRW) has issued 12 flood warnings and 59 flood alerts covering rivers and coastal areas, urging everyone to be ready for possible flooding.

If you’re in a flood-affected area, here’s what you need to do:

🔹 Get your flood kit ready.
🔹 Move people and pets to safe places.
🔹 Relocate important and sentimental items.
🔹 Secure any large or loose items outside.
🔹 Put flood protection equipment in action.
🔹 Switch off gas, electricity, and water.
🔹 Avoid touching electric sources in floodwater.
🔹 Park your car in a safer, elevated spot.
Key spots with flood warnings include areas near River Loughor, River Cothi, and River Towy, among others. Meanwhile, coastal zones like Pembrokeshire and Cardigan Bay face flood alerts.
The Met Office has placed a yellow warning for rain across Wales until Tuesday afternoon, accompanied by a wind warning affecting large parts of the country. Additionally, an amber rain warning is set for parts of south Wales until late Tuesday morning.
Stay safe! Check weather forecasts and avoid travelling where possible. Keep clear of swollen riverbanks and don’t drive through floodwater. The high tides and strong winds could also result in large waves, so steer clear of promenades and the sea.
Stay prepared, stay informed and stay safe. 🙌💧 #StormBram #WalesWeatherWarning
