In an incredibly tragic turn of events, two young children have been named by police after being found dead at a home in Stafford. Meraj Ul Zahra, aged two, and Abdul Momin Alfaateh, aged three, were discovered unresponsive with injuries on Sunday morning on Corporation Street. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, they couldn’t be saved and were sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

A 43-year-old woman from the Stafford area has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody as investigations continue. The children’s family is being supported during this devastating time.
