⚠️ Disturbing Case: A chilling story emerges from Swansea as 18-year-old Jimmy Tawse targeted elderly and vulnerable women, posing as a fake therapist and window cleaner to gain entry into their homes. Pretending to offer ‘services’, he preyed on the victims’ vulnerabilities, leaving emotional and psychological scars.
On May 15, two courageous 89-year-old women bravely shared their harrowing encounters. One, misled into thinking Tawse was a therapist, became a victim of his deceit and assault. Meanwhile, another woman avoided similar distress, though not without shock and a massive hit to her confidence.
Tawse’s spree didn’t stop there. An 85-year-old was duped into paying for non-existent window cleaning services, only to face an indecent encounter. A 63-year-old, unable to leave her house, was his next target, shaken by the brazen approach.
Despite his troubled behaviour, Tawse, now in custody, claims to be using his time productively. However, justice has been served with a seven-year sentence, including four years in detention. The court has ensured indefinite protection for the victims through restraining orders and mandatory registration for Tawse as a sex offender.
