🚨 Big news for pizza lovers! 🚨 Pizza Hut has announced it’s closing 68 of its dine-in restaurants across the UK as part of a major restructuring. Sadly, this includes several locations in Wales, like the ones in Cardiff, Llanelli, and Rhyl.
This shake-up comes after the UK franchise operator, DC London Pie, entered administration, putting a whopping 1,210 jobs at risk. Although a pre-pack administration deal saved 64 sites, these 68 restaurants weren’t included and will soon close their doors.
It’s a tough blow for fans of their famous stuffed crusts and salad bars, but all might not be lost. The global powerhouse behind Pizza Hut, Yum! Brands, has stepped in, buying the UK operation, so there might still be room for hope down the line.
