🚨🌧️ Heads up, Wales! Storm Benjamin is set to make a splash, bringing heavy rain and strong winds. The Met Office has issued two yellow weather warnings, so best be prepared!

Expect “extensive” rain to drench us, with totals hitting 20-50mm in some areas. This has prompted a flood alert for the north Wales coastline, particularly from Llanddulas to Anglesey. High tides mixed with this weather make Thursday morning a watchful one, from 11am to 11.30am.

Rain warnings are in place for 12 regions: Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Neath Port Talbot, Newport, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Swansea, Torfaen, and the Vale of Glamorgan. Expect a wet and wild day until 6pm!
And it’s not just the rain! Seven regions, including Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Conwy, Gwynedd, Isle of Anglesey, Pembrokeshire, and Swansea, will feel the force of 50mph winds from 6am to 3pm. Exposed areas might even see gusts up to 55mph.
Stay safe and keep an eye on local updates throughout the day. Let’s weather this storm together, Wales! 💨
