Hold onto your umbrellas, folks! The Met Office has just updated its weather warnings for Wales as Storm Benjamin makes its presence known. This fierce storm has already hit France hard with 100mph winds and is now moving through the UK. Initially, yellow warnings were issued for Wales, predicting possible disruption, flooding, and property damage.

⛈️ Thanks to a change in its course, the worst impacts are steering away from us! The storm is now heading away from the UK, and those immediate warnings have been lifted. However, don’t put away your raincoats just yet! We’re still in for a blustery, wet day with strong northwesterly winds making it feel much colder than usual.

Traffic Updates
🌧️ Expect heavy showers and gales to sweep in, occasionally merging into longer spells of rain. Parts of north Wales, like the coast from Llanddulas to Anglesey, saw flood alerts earlier, but thankfully, those are no longer active.

Traffic Updates
⚠️ Over in southeast England, gusts up to 55mph are on the cards until 3pm, with Norfolk and Suffolk expecting heavy rain until 4pm. As Storm Benjamin heads to Denmark, brace yourself for a chilly weekend with temperatures dipping below average and even snow gracing Scottish mountains!

So, stock up on your favourite hot drinks and cosy jumpers. Stay safe and keep an eye on the forecast as we navigate through this tempestuous weather. 🌪️
