Exciting changes are coming to the Morrisons petrol station in Haverfordwest! Plans have just been approved to give the station a much-needed facelift and expansion. Here’s what you can expect: a bigger sales building, an electric vehicle (EV) charging zone, a sub-station, a low voltage (LV) panel, a bin store, and four shiny new jet wash bays!

As part of the development, some existing trees around the area will make way for the new facilities, but don’t fret! Replacement tree planting is on the cards to keep the greenery vibrant. Despite these changes, the charming surrounding hedgerows and trees near the extension and EV zone won’t be touched.

During construction, a Construction Traffic Management Plan will be implemented to ensure things run smoothly. The proposal will see the removal of 30 parking spaces, but six brand-new EV bays will be introduced, and with extensive parking available at the nearby Bridge Meadow Retail Park, locals shouldn’t notice a lack of parking spots.
It’s all systems go for this revamp, aiming to enhance the overall experience for both drivers and shoppers. What do you think about the upcoming changes? Share your thoughts in the comments! 🌳⛽🔌
